A Whispering In History Poem by Bill Grace

A Whispering In History

When Ronald Reagan was President
he helped end the Cold War and
poverty was at one of its lowest levels,
his response to Gaddafi's terrorism - decisive.

Most admired though is a slice of marriage
revealed by his daughter at his wife's funeral.
She tells of the great man whispering to his mate
and Nancy whispering back to him on a bench
as a pair of love birds at their ranch.

I wonder if we have another
of history's great romances
in their story?
