A Wing That Flutters Poem by Sangbid Kundu

A Wing That Flutters

In the solemn vacuum of the neurons of my heart,
Came some retrospective turbulence,
Suddenly enough, I gave a start
I had a glimpse inside it, looked at it eavesdropping
Confused with numerous questions it was
Completely dejected though it wanted to sing.
I saw something in my heart, enigmatic it was I found,
I saw some germs of happiness
Enclosed in leakproof coats of depressions,
Though mystically but completely bound.
I gave it a real mobilization
Germinated the seeds of happiness in my heart,
It's roots so firmly struck, that nobody can tear em' apart.
I no longer felt like a pig in a sty,
My heart transformed into a wing,
Desperately wanting to flutter,
And lo! It began to fly.
