A Wish Poem by Mir Irfan

I wish I were in a fairy land,
And I had my own music band,
Sky cloaked under clouds and snow-clad mountains,
I would love to see parks filled with fountains,
The smell of earth and the fragrance of flowers,
Filling the mind with sheer delight,
And among all this a touch of thee,
Will turn alive a dead soul like me,
To be in thy arms dilates my frozen heart,
I would love to be like that and never to part,
You can forget me but how can I
As I have incarcerated you in my heart
So that we may never part
