A Woman Stole My Girl With A Line Poem by Colin Coplin

A Woman Stole My Girl With A Line

Rating: 4.0

What's good, can sometimes change sides, it happened today
The girl I thought that I had, was taken away

A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
What went and changed her mind

She gave me no hint I's unfair, not even a clue
Just a brief note she signed, and a thank you

I would try to win her back if I could
But sometimes things change for good, and that's fine

A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
What changed her mind / I hope she's fine

I don't know what she's hoping to find
And why she picked now, to say goodbye

A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
What changed her mind

I'm lost for words to say, Thinking's tongue tied
Riding the boundaries of despair, With no place to hide

A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
What changed her mind

I don't know what she's hoping to find
And why she picked now to say goodbye

She gave me no hint I'm unfair, no not even a clue
Just a brief note she signed, and an empty thank you

A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
What changed her mind

I would try to win her back if I could
But sometimes things change for good, and that's fine

A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
What changed her mind
A woman stole my girl with a line
I hope she's fine
