A Word Of Knowledge Poem by Michael P. Johnson

A Word Of Knowledge

A WORD OF KNOWLEDGE
"Today is strange without a doubt
I'm usually on my own
A colleague came to help me out
He said! that you would phone

He said you'd call at ten today
I don't know how he could
He even knew you'd come this way
The Lord had said you would

When first I heard I stood and laughed
Didn't believe a word
I thought he'd gone completely daft
It sounded quit absurd

He also knew the clothes you'd wear
The time you'd turn up here
The colour and style of your hair
I thought was more than queer

He also said if I would come
I'd never be the same
Again I thought it sounded dumb
Until just now you came

Do you believe that God is real?
I would if I were you
The proof's right here, to see and feel
Oh yes, I know He's true

Although at first it seems so odd
It's also all too clear
There really is living God
Or I'm not standing here

I know my colleague really cares
Please come and say hello
He'll know we're coming up the stairs
For God will tell him so".....
