A World

We are born
Into a world
Where we are not wanted
A world where hate lives

We grow up
In a world
Where we are judged
A world where we are never good enough

We try to fit in
In a world
Where you can't be yourself
A world where being you isn't normal

We live
In a world
We will never understand
A world that brings us sadness

We get lost
In a world
That changes us
A world that breaks us

We die
In a world
We were never meant to live in
A world that screws us all

We are born
We grow up
We try to fit in
In a world that screws us all

We live
We get lost
We die
In a world we weren't meant to live in

This is life
The life we life
The life we think is great
But life, screws us all

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;

Ere the evening lamps are lighted,
