A Writer's Weakness Poem by Garland Jodie Jeen

A Writer's Weakness

</>don't you show you're a deadpan
More than zillion words were written
but more than that were felt by heart
a writer just found it unforgivable to write that little
nonetheless writing a lengthy story
will not only waste ink, but it also wastes time and readers'
attention
a writer should be modest
'Cause he cannot write all the matters
and the compliment and conceits and critism
are lighter than air...
write
whenever he can think
write down
whatever he feels
write again
no matter you cheer or jeer
until the last day dawns on the last word
everything is still a lesser matter
and this is a writer's weakness
meanwhile,
this is a writer's strength
