Abnormality In Its Purity Poem by Manda Lorden

Abnormality In Its Purity

I find my body underneath these blankets
Silently debating if im living in my dreams
I make my way to the side of the bed
I hover above my body. nothing is what it seems
Im trying to dive off into the deep end
But gravity has its way of disappearing
There is no more water, but i am still standing on this diving board
A butterfly whispered in my ear as it flew by. it made my angels sing
Once haloed heads of Light carried me to space
They told me i forgot how to breath
While deje vu silently takes a hold of my new reality
The only option i have left, is to leave.
