Frozen Butterflies Poem by Manda Lorden

Frozen Butterflies

Rating: 2.0

A freak storm from the heavens above
Thunder so firece. Should i run?
Lightening so bright. Now im blind.
The tornado ripped apart my concepts of time
Breath in. Hold on tight.
Breath out. Try to keep sight.
If i throw up, will i still feel this bad?
Will this pouring rain wash away all my sad?
Something inside of me is screaming
Its louder than the sound of me breathing
What has the universe gotten me into?
Extreme lessons in temporary persue
I already knew how to connect the dots..
I cant vomit when my stomachs in knots.
Feeling twisted, backwards and upsidedown,
My hands, mouth and feet are bound
My sky was gold, now its crying and gray.
In this dark wet open field, i lay
I close my eyes, theres nowhere to hide.
You touched my soul and my vibration rised.
