About A Girl Who Could Not Forget

Rating: 5.0

Obliterate the memories how could she
there was a sweeter side to her pain
that sometimes appeared as a smile on her face
when she would think about
the last time they met in rain

His eyes spoke a language silent
resonating words of love and affection
looking deeply into his eyes she saw
a mirror called soul
where she could see her own reflection

she captured the memories of radiance
that emanated from his beautiful face
locking the very moment in her heart
she engraved his name in her soul
and loved him forever in many ways

Absolutely romantic. Beautiful love poem, well articulated, and insightfully penned in poetic diction with good rhyme scheme. Lovely narrative on the bliss voyage of love written with conviction. Thanks for sharing Pratik. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
