Above Every Name

Exalted is my Saviour
Who came to earth to die
And lived a life exemplary
Not one sin would draw Him nigh
Obedient to His Father
In all He said and did
Above every name is Jesus Christ
I live because He lives

That name has saving power
He can save to the uttermost
Triune God of Heaven
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
None comparable anywhere
Above every name that name
Above every name is Jesus Christ
Forever He's the same

What's the highest name you have
To offer unto praise
Who can rescue you from sin
And give you cause for praise
From a foundation of forgiveness
You can forgive now too
Above every name is Jesus Christ
Has He found a friend in you?
