Absolutely Zero

I want to take that star
And own it in a box
Block all spectrums far
To lock rebinding shocks

Stop electrons flying
And watch it try to flee
The cat's dead, not dying
Schrodinger couldn’t see

Absolutely zero
Will show that matters true
But I am far from hero
My dreams are in askew

I could really use a mind like yours during my stats class. Although you may not be able to truly appreciate the way your mind works, it really is an amazing thing. Sincerely, Mary (Report) Reply

YOUR MOST ASTUTE QUALITY WILL BE YOUR GRASP OF THE ABSTRACT.
TODAYS CONTEMPORARY POETRY DIFFERS MUCH FROM THE CLASSICAL, TRADITIONALIST LITERARIEES OF YESTERYEAR.YOUR MOST GIFTED MINDSET WILL ALLOW YOU TO TAP INTO MOLECUULAR ZONES, THAT MOST CAN ONLY DREAM ABOUT OR FEIGN BY ATTEMPYING TO WRITE ABOUT IT. THIS IS A GOOD, CLEAN PIECE...ITS MESSAGE OF FRUSTRATION IS CLEARLY EXPRESSED...KEEP IT AT A LEVEL IN WHICH ALL READERS CAN RELATE TO...YOUR PROCLIVITY FOR LEFT SIDE RELIANCE, WILL FIREBLAST YOUR SENSE OF IMAGERY & CREATIVITY...BUT YOU MUST KEEP IT AT A LEVEL THAT ALLCAN RELATE TO...I LIKE THIS A LOT, PAUL...GOOD JOB.''''''''''''''''FRANK (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Go from me, summer friends, and tarry not:
I am no summer friend, but wintry cold,
A silly sheep benighted from the fold,
A sluggard with a thorn-choked garden plot.
