Absurdities Of Human Frailty... Poem by RIC BASTASA

just because he did not return
his pair of shoes
he went up to his house
and there and then
stabbed him to death

just because he stole a piece of bread
he clubbed him and killed him too

just because he wanted to help as he fell down
the ground he did not like it and so he
pulled the knife from his waist and stabbed
him too

a grandson who did not like his grandmother
telling him not to be drunk at night
lifted a table and hit her breaking her
wrist bone and she finally died the next morning

these are not stories
these happened and until now as judge
i could not figure out why...
