Abyss Poem by Christina Shischell

Abyss

Rating: 2.8

Each new blow
Is felt with a new pain
A new sting
Eating away at my heart
My soul
Leaving different scars
That spell your name
Over and over again
All over this cursed, wretched body
The way you've broken me,
The things you've taught me about myself
Make me afraid to see my own
Reflection.
I begin to feel
Like I hardly am real
I envision
All this flesh
Falling, dripping, peeling
Revealing nothing
But a feeling.

The things you taught me about myself, makes me even afraid to see my own reflection, thats a nice, creative line, i love the insight, keep it up.
