Once again we fall into a deep abyss
We live out our lives wondering and wondering
Down we fall till we hit rock bottom
Our lives intertwined, our minds pulled together
One twice when will it end?
Down we go into the abyss alone and together
Now we lay your head to sleep and never wake

Interesting poem. You bear my middle name, named for my grandfather Martin. This is a good poem until one comes to that last line. I do hope the lack of a period means that it is not really the end. Adeline
