Acceptance Poem by Raj Arumugam

Acceptance

Perhaps what I am is false to you
and you have no faith in what seems;
or perhaps you see what I seem to be
and wonder if this is what could be;
and what should be; or even perhaps
what seems and what is do not meet to be;
or perhaps on either side simply
what seems is not what is, and what is
does not seem to be.
So you deny me.

Dear Ruthy There is no typo error in that. I'm quite satisfied with that line - but a s I see it now, the lines that follow are a bit contrived. Thanks for making me think about what I have here on this site.I'll spend some time looking through my poems again to amend where necessary.

with regards to this line: what seems and what is do not meet to be; .... is this a typo? The grammar here makes no sense to me you see. Please explain? Ruthy
