Acrobats Poem by Thomas Plotz

Acrobats

The acrobats’ are at it again, must be something in the feed
Seeing their need for seed, has been compromised
With falls bounty floundering
Faltering to stock pile rent

Realizing the frenzy action,
Emphasizing, dancing scene,
Tantalizing winter hustle time

Hey, you know what I mean

The chase, of the grey city squirrel
The whirl of the wind, power of the sun
Synchronizing sensation of disco dance fun
Nothing like winter entertainment

It’s been said, “Life is short, but the days are long”

Why not, hop to it
It’s part of our life
