Acrostic: Teardrops—an Emotional Binge Poem by Caryl Ramsdale

Acrostic: Teardrops—an Emotional Binge

Tears slowly oozed out those hazel peepers
Evacuated—sadness that occurs—
Anticipating—further misfortune—
Reliving how her hard luck had begun.
Dreadful gossip stock-stilled a bright future
Rooting her cold on the corporate ladder.
Oppressed—by an acute sense of failure,
Painfully—demoralized and unsure,
Shyly…she avoids friends and the blur.
