I love you, when you're out of sight

As if all the shadows are illuminated bright
you are conjured into sunlight

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
this is my first English poem written in my 18, when I was havign an history class... I was not in love with anybody at that time; it's no more than a metaphor. what I am expressing is that possessing is a thing about limitation; for instance, a dream in your childhood, a pair of boots that you hesitated to buy, and, of course, love. these things, I say, actually, would only be in their best when they are 'out of sight'...

Here we have a saying 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' which I think you expressed wonderfully in your poem.

Such a beautiful poem. I like the image and the brief description of the hidden expecting emotion. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely encapsulated piece of poetry insightfully penned from the heart with conviction. A beautiful love poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Valentina. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

Very elegant, very nice...The image of conjuring someone into sunlight....There's something of the angelic in that. A great poem.
