I thought all feelings were lost
I found a new love, it's true
and it came at no cost
I can't get enough
Compassion, Romance
Hate, Lust
All my emotion at a glance
I thought I would never, ever
feel this way again
But you were so clever
You hid behind a pen
Yes it's true. I found a new home
My heart that once was blue

Wanted to add this on a re read~~~~~~~~POEMS, addiction to~~~~ this addiction can not hurt you, it can not leave you, it can not be taken from you for it comes from within your heart and soul..........and by the way it's 'Safe' to boot! ! ! ! ! marci. :) xo

I was taken with your title. In fact I had a similar thought the other day (addicted to you) and was contemplating using it as the springboard of a new poem. Yes, new love is an addiction and fortunately one that has no withdrawal symptoms, even when you over-indulge. Hope all your dreams come true. love, Allie xxxx
