Admittedly Mine Poem by Daryl Posey

Admittedly Mine

Rating: 5.0

With every curve came heartache, around every bend bore a broken dream
Every amount of light was followed by a shadow, I remain stuck in between
I pulled away chose to push most everyone out
its a lonely place living with mistrust, and doubt
The quest for a choice a chance to be compared
or is it simply trying to make a difference
to realize no one ever cared
We share today for as we only bear promise of tomorrow
or is it best to remain silent, and let memories remain to whom they follow

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When you find yourself seperated from the control of your own reality the obvious place to begin is within yourself. Each and everyone of us has a story, our stories are all connected with one begining, this one is admittedly mine.
