Adventure Poem by Dana Richardson

Adventure

The world is full of beautiful adventures,
those who seek the adventure,
sees the beauty in the world.
There will always be obstacles in the world,
but whether or not yo choose to go around them,
is up to you.
There are plenty of troubles, and many fights,
and dozens of trip ups.
But falling isn't falling,
if you don't cry when you hit the floor.
And life can't be perfect,
if you don't know what a struggles for.
It's called the past cause i'm getting past,
and i'm nothing like i was before,
you should see me now.
Trying to get out and around.
Being stronger than i've ever had to be.
I was always told to keep moving,
and to keep climbing my mountain.
If the mountain wasn't rough you couldn't climb it
If it was smooth you'd just slide back down.
And if the river has to be rough,
otherwise you wouldn't get swept away to better things.
And if the sun always shined we'd be dried up like a raisin.
Seek all of your adventures and swallow your fear,
Follow the trail to find the beauty you want in this world.
