Affliction Made Me Strong Poem by Cherelie Bonsadan

Affliction Made Me Strong

Every time a family relationship
Is getting worst in this home,
I only wanted to go away,
be alone in a silent place
and remember how some people
make me feel that life is worth living for.

Wanna be off from this place
Leave the discontented people behind
Live the way I want it to be
With the boundary of freedoms limitation

I hate this people who only see me with scrupulous deeds
Never satisfied of whatever I did
keep on hurling upon me the things that
supposedly be over them.

Felt my face burning
When my right disregarded,
Clenching my fists to keep the pain
And avoid ruin.
But still with this kind of affliction
I felt myself being so strong.
