Africa, My Africa Poem by Charles Kanyuga

Africa, My Africa

Rating: 5.0

Beauty we relish
of lofty goodness
her harbor is restful
and terrains in coherence
She is fresh and lush
Africa, my Africa

All grown and curvy
suitors eye drencher
a priceless treasure
ancient skin
Africa, my Africa

You are so right Africa is the place to be. I could not imagine living in any other place. You write well Charles. regards Bob

I haven't been in Africa. I just hear stories and descriptions about the place but i hope someday i will go there. Someday i want to see what forests and jungles really look like. very nice write!

africa is the heaven on earth but her sons don't raise her and make her better......however, she's very rich and generous.....beautiful and full of life......we all have to cooperate and put our hands together to make it better....we also have to put in mind that the europian countries are taking africa's resources even after the occupation...so we have to argue to retrieve our stolen rights to own our land. thanks for sharing......(read my poem: a nature lover's diary)
