After The Sunshine Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

After The Sunshine

To get out of this room one day,
To get out of this place one day,
To get of the darkness one day!
And, to see the light;
With the muse of love and peace,
Than, the ways of the life in this land.

Love,
After the sunshine;
With the muse of peace and joy!
Than the ways of this very land.
Corner, crooner!
With the muse of diehard fans.

Art, artiste!
At a beach resort;
Of the truth!
Reaping the fruits of your labour;
But, it is time for me to look for the sunshine!
Out this land.
