Memories of the same event
Do you feel as I feel
Was what we had a true love or was it all pretend
Do you share my happiness and longing
Or do you go off saying we were nothing
So important you are to me
My mentality holds a certain peace
Say I've moved on past you
But is that really true
Say I've found some others and forgotten about you
Would you break
Would I drown
Or are we both settled down
I'm telling you

I remember how I loved you
Do I love you
Can I say
But I'll take with me all you've meant to me every step of the way
Holding values built up from you
I wonder what impressions I've made
