It took so long
to find someone like you
someone who would set me free
and make me feel again
what I lost so long ago
and thought I couldn't find again
but you came along
and I saw in you so much
something I didn't want to let go
you gave me a reason to belong
to know what it's like to love again

I thought I could only dream
being torn at the seam
but nothing never felt so real then
when I felt my heart beat again
I found love again when I found you
and I can't wait to see you again
you are here with me
as I feel your touch
through a gentle wind
and I feel like me again
