Age Of Reason Poem by Balint Nagy

Age Of Reason

Rating: 3.5

Completely broken, I was standing in the rain,
Suddenly, I had had enough of the pain,
‘Coz, I don't have a reason to be tragic at all,
I lost some joy, but I've got so much more.

On the threshold of a new life
The sun shines more than yesterday
On the threshold of a new life
My scars began to fade
On the threshold of a new life
The pain has been washed away

All I ever wanted- walk proudly on these streets
All we ever wanted, living without fears
But we still have the passion, we still have the time
To recreate someday what we left behind

On the threshold of a new life
The sun shines more than yesterday
On the threshold of a new life
My scars began to fade
On the threshold of a new life
The pain has been washed away

On the threshold of a new life
The sun shines more than yesterday
On the threshold of a new life
My scars began to fade
On the threshold of a new life
The pain has been washed away
