Airborne Ranger Cadence Poem by Life Decoded

Airborne Ranger Cadence

Deep in the battlefield
Covered in blood
There's an Airborne Ranger
Dying in the mud

Alone in the night
Hands on her head
A pretty woman cries
'Cause her Ranger's dead

Those silver wings
Upon his chest
All American daddy
One of the best

He fought to keep
This country free
For people and soldiers
Like you and me

Six feet under
This Ranger lies
But because of him
Our flag still flies
