Alas Poem by Catherine Casey

Alas

A charging rhino came to town
It cost me three pounds twenty.
Alas the guarding daffodil
As stationary sentry.

Then leaping lion city bound
Encountered Ruby Murray.
It seems your bones are just as crunched
When surname rhymes with curry.
