Dr. Albert Einstein's attachment to his family was evident
From the fact that he always lived with his family,
Be it his immediate close family or his extended family.
Pauline - his mother and Hermann - his father,
Brought him up with such loving care, affection, values
That when they left him in Germany to finish his school,
Albert felt so miserable without his parents and sister,
Missed his family so much, that he left his school abruptly,
Without a word to anyone, just packed up, boarded a train,
To join his family in Italy. His parents welcomed him back.
Though Albert's father Hermann passed away early in life,
Without knowing or experiencing the joy of his son's triumphs,
His mother Pauline lived to see all the inventions, glories
And fame of her super intelligent son.
She was proud to have given birth to a genius.
Albert was always concerned about his mother's health
Specially, after she was detected with stomach cancer.
He spent half of his salary on Mileva, his sons and his mother.
Even while Albert lived in Germany, his mother in Switzerland,
He managed to send funds to her for all her expenses.
After much effort and arrangements,
Albert brought his mother Pauline to Berlin,
To live with him and Elsa in their apartment.
She was given a room on her own and both of them
Looked after her most lovingly till her end.
Pauline passed away on 20th Feb 1920, at the age of 62.
Einstein wrote to his friend Heinrich Zangerr:
"My mother died a week ago today in terrible agony.
We are all completely exhausted.
One feels in one's bones the significance of blood ties."
A Biographical Poem
1) I do not exaggerate when I report here that I have enjoyed very much this (rather short this time) sparkling new sequel of Dr. Albert Einstein's Autobiographical poem
2) The Jews are like the Chinese (traditional family not like the families since China was under the reign of Mao Tse Tung, also like all Asian families, where the parents live together with the married children, of course one of the children
3) or if only one child, these parents live with their only child, first the child was at home at his parents' now the parents iive in the house of their children, as now the parents of Dr. Einstein
His mother Pauline lived to see all the inventions, glories And fame of her super intelligent son....great to see achievement of her son, her blood!
A beautiful portrayal of the great love he had for his family.
Another wonderful presentation of a significant part of Dr. Albert Einstein's life. So vividly and brilliantly woven. Top Marks! !
Dr. Albert Einstein is indeed lucky for being endowed with a wonderful family.
The foundation of a great man is the love of his family. The values, care and love if family play a vital role in shaping his future.
