Alcohol Poem by E.A. England

Alcohol

Have a bottle, take a glass
Throw all your cares away
Go on, submerge your troubled thoughts
In fact, I'll lead the way!

Don't be afraid, I mean no harm
With me you'll be just fine
I'll make the world turn back the clock
I'll make the stars align

There are however, several things
That you may want to know
You may be feeling bullet proof
But you don't run the show

You may do things that you'll regret
There is no guarentee
You could lose all your friends at once
But hey, you'll still have me

And when you try to change the past
When you see your life was split
There will be nothing you can do
But that doesn't matter. Does it?

Well said. Alcohol can be a snake in a glass. Still, I like to have a nip now and then.
