Alias Poem by Wes Thompson

Alias

Rating: 4.5

I have been told
that men who slay monsters
are but monsters to be
as I feel the night sky
stare back into me
but what might must I face
to bleed my soul free
when not one black beast
rests yet within me

This is such a cool poem. Deep; I like the question and how it is asked.

Matt's dead on - this IS a cool poem. Revel in the question you've asked for as long as you possibly can, my friend... once you find yourself needing to slay the demons that reside within - or worse, to coexist with the ones that won't give in - you may forget how it feels to ponder such a thing. I wish for you that you never do. ~Chris
