Alive But Dead Poem by Rishina Cabillo

Alive But Dead

Rating: 5.0

Tummy's howling, screaming for meals
Heart is wailing, in pain it feels
Brain is in state of confusion
Nought could do but cried an ocean

Body parts can't move, seem shattered
Lying on bed, feeling like dead
Swollen eyes, begging to not cry
Stop this agony, or I'll die

Both forlorn? Blame this desertion
N'one's at fault, just misperception
Come quick, can't wait any longer
Let flowers bloom, bring the laughter

Melancholic, d'ya feel it, too?
Or is it just me, thought you do.
How can someone, not there an'more?
Promised you things, but left you gored
