All At Once Poem by Devon Tremblay

All At Once

I carry on this way
so lost and so astray
will I find my way?
I carry on this way
will I leave, or will I stay
in this arctic country

You are warmer than sunlight
Sweeter than honey
As calm as a dark night
Richer than money

I have never felt like this before
For every line
For every stroke
I'll take a puff of that sweetened smoke
Yes I may cough, I may choke
But it will get rid of that Loveless coat
I clear my head, I clear my throat
So that this sadness won't soak

But the thing is, I have just begun
And I feel you are the one
You are the reason this song is sung
No more hurt just laughter and fun
You are the greatest friend
This is eternal, This will not end
