All But Gone Poem by Ray Hansell

All But Gone

She said there was nothing
Left for us to save
Everything we had to give
It seems we already gave

No matter hard one tries
Some things can't be saved
There was nothing left for us to do
Our live together was already played

Our final act is over
It's time for moving on
What we shared together
Now is all but gone

Life can be so funny
Love can be so strange
No matter how hard you try
Things just don't stay the same
