All Grown Up Poem by Nightshade Starlight

All Grown Up

I remember, it seems like forever ago,
We were riding our bikes.
You were helping me
Learn without those trainging wheels.
I told you not to let go,
Yet you already did,
You let me go.
I'm all grown up now
It's time to let go.
You know its best,
To just let it go.
We've had our laughs,
We've had our times.
There are times that were sad,
There were times you didn't
Think I saw you crying when I had.
It was hard times,
I had to grow up pretty fast.
My first drive,
You were so nervous,
Me behind to wheel,
Yet you and I both knew
It was time for me to learn
Too let it be true.
I'm all grown up now,
We can't go back,
No matter how much fun we had.
All those memories are there,
I'll never forget them
And neither will you.
It's time to let me go,
Your daughters all grown up now.
I'll see you soon,
I promise you that.
I'll come back soon,
After I've got my own life started.
It's time to let go,
Your daughters all grown up now.
