All I Want... (In memory of my uncle)

All i want is someone to walk through the door.
someone to say he is waiting for us.
All i want is someone to walk through the door.
someone to say he is alive.
someone to say he is on his way.
All i want is someone to walk through the door.
someone to say we are going to California to see him.
somone to say the trouble has gone away.
someone to start crying when we see him.
All i want is someone to walk through the door.
someone to tell him he can't leave again.
someone to cry when he says he loves us.
someone to laugh when he tells us his jokes.
someone to send me a picture of our memories.
All i want is someone to say my uncle is here to stay!

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born
