All My Arrempts Poem by Ganesh Veeraraghavan

all my attempts…..

I messaged to God and waited for reply
"Sending Failed" buzzed my mobile
I checked if i sent to the right number
Some digits perhaps I didn't remember
I got a message totally blank
I thought it was some prank!

I pressed my handy to give a missed call
Millions returned and jammed like windfall
I was tired of the continuous buzz
I switched off my phone in disgust!

I sent a whatsapp to His special number
I checked up each minute through the hour
Under double ticks black "Not Delivered"
Under the blue ones it was "Read"

I wrote a well crafted poem
And carefully mailed it to God.com
I waited for a reply from Him
It probably lies in His folder spam!
Then I realized it can't be God.com
It should be God please come!

I wrote a letter and posted
As usual I forgot to stamp it
I waited to see if I can be lucky
The envelope returned to me duly
In disgust I tore open the cover
I didn't find inside my letter!

I chose a messenger to send my requet
I learnt he reached God at last
I waited for his speedy return
He smiles perhaps from the heaven!

I then went direct to His gate
As usual I was a bit late
I asked if I am at the right address
The keeper told me it depends as I wish!
I asked him if God was in
He told me He left hurryin
I asked him where He was headed
My house stands in the lane he named!
