All Of You Poem by Dennis Rigas

All Of You

In the morning when I wake,
amidst the heralding of the sun,
the sounds of summer
and gentle breeze,
the visions of the night remain
and my thoughts are still of you.

In the confusion of the day,
amidst the treadmills grueling pace,
forgotten joys,
and neglected dreams,
the enchantment of your smile remains,
and my thoughts are all of you.

In the evening when at last I rest,
amidst the quiet solitude
of a star-lit sky -
my burdens cease.
and a refuge in the night I find,
because my dreams are all of you.
