But being God, You're patient Lord,
When human crimes abound!
And people don't follow Thine Word;
Blood spills on holy ground!
How precious lives are lost with ease
On suspicions unsound!
Most nations do not stay in peace,
And innocents, they hound.
When rains as river waters flow,
Unhindered into sea,
Riparian states become a foe,
And floods turn malady.
How foolish human beings are,
When unborn babes are killed;
As war-clouds threaten from afar,
With rapes, some lands are filled.
When roots of corruption are strong,
And terrorism thrives;
To steal and cheat- there's nothing wrong,
As demons, mankind drives.
When ravished, famished people stay,
And governance goes rot;
The poor and common folk all pray
To God to change their lot!
