Alone - Poem by Matthias Pantaleon

In a cold room
Am locked up against myself
Shut out from the world
Like a tear drop in a sea
Alone,
Am like a tree in the desert
No leave to shade
No branch for a bird to peach
No wind to dust my hair
No rain to wash my feet
Just me as mean as sunray
Alone,
keeping memories that refused to be forgotten

Can feel the loneliness in your words, and memories of the past.
