Alone Poem by Marrissia Holliday

Alone

All these lonely nights wondering where you are,
The memory of your touch its echoing in my heart,
All the happy times we had are no more,
Now the nights pass slowly,
I'm lying all alone,
Lonely as a stone beneath the willows bark...
Listening as my tears falling hard on the stone
And the song of the meadow lark sings of my saddness
I'm lost in this day of night
Searching for the light,
You left me in the darkness without a hand to hold,
Tonight I'm alone wishing it could just be the end,
The end of the larks song
sang softly in the night
I'm alone again wishing...
