Alone Poem by Sabrina Tuch

Alone

Silence builds an awful disaster of a girl,
It feeds on loneliness and creates a hole,
Gray shadows haunt and torture her,
A teenager is strucken and destroyed.

There is no sound of laughter or happiness in her,
The little one has thrown in2 the fear today,
Sad and upsetting moods decay the soul,
It is important to hope and dream and pray.

Emptiness builds a home in her,
In this girl, where this girl has always dreaded 2 be,
A deepening sea of nowhereness consumes her,
And eats away at every connected thread.

Confusion feeds like a savage inside her,
Leaving nothing considered worthy,
Destined to walk through life less ordinary,
Alone, Sad, Scared, and different.
