Alphabet Poem - 6 Poem by Ferdinand L Quintos

Alphabet Poem - 6

A blessed child
did Eternal Father give,
hallelujah, it’s Jesus,
kenotic, lived mortal,
nemesis of Pharisees’s
quackery, redeemed
sinners, taught us verity,
whereof Xmas,
yearning's zenith.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Last night (August 30,2013, Philippine time) , I was trying to write this poem. After staring at my monitor, and it staring back at me, blankly for almost one hour, I decided to go to bed. At the thin line between sleep and waking consciousness, I caught my self muttering, 'A blessed child, a blessed child.' My eyes opened wide. Then a little voice told me to get up. I grabbed a pen and paper and scribbled away, every word coming almost automatically from my head.
