Always Try To Stay True Poem by Francis Duggan

Always Try To Stay True

To the higher self always try to stay true
And always pay credit to whom it is due
And never be part of the negative sorts of the town
Who find pleasure in their words on putting others down
You cannot be true to yourself if to others you are unkind
If you are one who does play negative games of the mind
On the seeds of fair play good faith it is sown
So much truth in the saying of to each their own
Those who are kind to others sow karma's good seed
Of more of their sort humanity is badly in need
What humanity does not need are more of those who from the losses of others feel happy to gain
Though many may see them as successful a doubt on their worth as people remain
Do unto others as you would like them do to you
And to your higher self try to remain as true.
