Amber Poem by Nvisible 2Luv

How dare the sun still shine.
What nerve of the birds to sing.
I can't bear to even see a smile.
Not while the words in my ears still ring.

In her smile was the light of the sun.
Her music gave the birds their song.
How could they continue so cheerfully?
How could they, now that she is gone?

Her heart was truly unique.
It's so rare in this world that you find
Such truth, love & compassion
Behind eyes so beautiful and kind.

And though she would want all to continue
Just as brightly as she did their days
Spring songs fall short of my ears
And my skies seem to drown in the haze.
