Amber Poem by Jennifer Jenkins

Amber

you'd rather be alone,
sitting hard,
replaying how she
seduced you
the night before. you slip

her in between me
and sunday, keep your desire
secret- she's always been
a good traveller.

though I am near,
she is closer
and probably deep-throats
better than I.

oh sweet amber,
I can still smell your perfume
on his lies.
