Ambitions Poem by Julie Shirley

Ambitions

Rating: 5.0

Ambitions from the some
who perceive life, its beauty,
often looked down upon as scum
though destined to be

the few who walk with integrity,
living above the negativity
and often allegedly
accused by the people without sensitivity

who don't know the meaning of
boundaries, but you see,
its the same people who cant differentiate the meaning of love,
caught around the neck, crying for a plea-trying to flee

away from the situation
they blew out of proportion
or should I make a clarification
for the ones who lack the intellect caused by distortion-

of their beliefs,
thieves of those who heave
the grieve that lay upon their shoulders
from those who cannot see the meaning
of oneself.
