i agree with you
i'd put all my trust
beforehand

in the beginning
till the end and they
are telling me

you killed somebody
and i close my eyes and
say nothing

and they could not believe
what i am doing
and they tell me again
more are killed senselessly
and you tell me
this must be done to save
this country
to make this country a livable
place for the incoming
generation

for our children and for their
children
and i again close my eyes and
covered my ears

and i open my eyes and look
at the skies
and i find another world which
i never wish to live
with you

i am helpless
and you have no use of me
it is my silence

it is our deepest silence
and on the other hand
it is their noise
their loudest noise
hand and in hand you shall
never change

we resort to time
we beg for history
and then at the last
resort
we say we believe in God
in the name of the Father
the Son and the Holy Spirit
